Cookie Policy

What we store on your device, why, and how to change your mind in one click.

Last updated: September 21, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how PIZEL PLAZA, LLC (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on seatmap.io and its pages (the “Site”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally, and our Terms of Service.

We store or read information on your device only when it is strictly necessary to run the Site, or when you have told us we may.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Related technologies do the same job in other ways. For example, local storagein your browser, pixels, and scripts. This policy treats all of these alike: when we say “cookies”, we mean cookies and similar storage technologies together.

Cookies can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by a service we use), and either session (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent (kept until they expire or you delete them).

3. How we use them

We group cookies and storage into three categories:

  • Essential, required for the Site to work: keeping it secure, remembering the choices you make in the cookie banner itself, and remembering display preferences such as your theme. These are strictly necessary from your perspective, so the law allows them without consent. They cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics: help us understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. Cookieless analytics (Rybbit) load with the page and set nothing on your device; they are listed in the table so you know who receives visit data. Google Tag Manager (and the Google Analytics 4 cookies it fires) and the Userback feedback widget load only after you opt in to analytics. Ignoring or rejecting the banner does not load those tools. Tag Manager may also load if you opt in to marketing only, so LinkedIn Insight can run without GA4 cookies.
  • Marketing: advertising measurement. LinkedIn Insight, delivered through Google Tag Manager, is off by default and loads only with your marketing opt-in.

Consent here means a real choice: no pre-ticked boxes, no bundled “by continuing you agree”, and rejecting is one click on the same banner layer as accepting.

4. The technologies we use

The tables below list every cookie, storage key, and cookieless analytics script we use, grouped by category. Your own consent record is included for completeness. Like any strictly necessary item, it is set so we can honor and demonstrate your choice.

Analytics

Cookieless product analytics run through Rybbit (Sideguard) and load with the page. They set no cookies or local storage on your device, so they are not gated by this banner (they still appear in the table). Google Analytics 4 (via Tag Manager) and the Userback feedback widget load only after you opt in to analytics.

Marketing

LinkedIn Insight measures the performance of our ads. It is off by default and loads only after you opt in to marketing. Google Tag Manager may load when either analytics or marketing is allowed; LinkedIn tags still require marketing consent.

5. Your choices

You can accept, reject, or fine-tune optional cookies at any time, not just on your first visit. Changing your mind takes effect immediately: we stop storing or reading the affected technologies and delete the ones already set.

  • We keep your choice for about six months, then ask again, sooner if what we use changes.
  • You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Blocking essential storage may stop parts of the Site (including the cookie banner's memory) from working as intended.
  • Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics entirely: Google Analytics opt-out.

6. Third-party technologies

Some Site features are provided by third parties that may store or read information on your device when you interact with them: our analytics providers (Rybbit / Sideguard, and, where enabled, Google), the feedback widget (Userback), LinkedIn Insight (advertising measurement, marketing opt-in), the chat and contact forms (Typebot, hosted on our own infrastructure), the meeting scheduler (Calendly), and the map on our contact page (Mapbox). These parties are named so you know exactly who receives what; their own policies govern how they handle data once collected.

Third parties may change the cookies or storage keys they use over time. We do not control their technologies; the tables above reflect what we have verified, and full current details are available from us on request.

7. Cookies in our product

Seatmap builds seat-selection software that organizers and venues embed in their own websites and apps. This policy covers our Site only. When our products are embedded on a customer's site, that customer is the operator of their site and is independently responsible for the cookie notices, consent, and legal compliance of their own pages, including any cookies or storage their integration of our products relies on. If you are visiting an organizer's ticketing page, please refer to that organizer's cookie and privacy notices.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top of the page always shows the current version. If we make a material change, a new category, a new third party, a new purpose, we will show you the cookie banner again so you can make a fresh choice before anything new is stored.

9. Contact and complaints
