Platform

Price bands that mean the same thing everywhere.

Named categories with real currency amounts, colors, and accessibility flags, defined once per event, assigned onto the chart, and resolved with provenance.

Sound familiar?

Float math on money

One rounding bug in the wrong place and the books don't close. Amounts here are minor-unit integers with an ISO currency, exact by construction.

Where did this price come from?

Base, override, campaign. When layers stack, nobody can explain the number. Every resolved price carries its source.

Categories reinvented per event

Gold, Golden, gold_final_v2. Named bands with sort order and colors end the taxonomy drift.

Categories, not scattered numbers

01Named, sorted, coloredPrice categories carry a name, display order, and color. The map, the admin, and reports all speak the same bands.
02Exact moneyMinor-unit amounts with ISO 4217 currencies. One currency per category and per order, never floats.
03Accessibility as dataAccessible categories are flagged on the band itself, so storefronts and reports treat them correctly everywhere.
04Assignment overlaysBands paint onto blocks, rows, seats, and zones as sparse overlays. The chart underneath stays immutable.
05A visible resolution ladderCampaign → session override → event default → unpriced. The admin shows which rung set each price.
06Unpriced means unsellableInventory with no band can't be sold by accident. A missing price fails safe, not cheap.

Bands in three moves

  1. 01Define the categoriesName, currency, amount, color, accessibility, once per event.
  2. 02Assign on the chartPaint bands across blocks, rows, single seats, and zones.
  3. 03Read the ladderOverrides and campaigns stack visibly; every price explains itself.
